Our One-Year Professional Development Musical Theatre Program is an intensive course in a conservatory setting designed for college graduates or individuals with previous training or performing experience. This course is ideal for those who intend to enter the profession upon completion.

We have a simple goal: to prepare you to enter the industry as a working performer at the end of your year. We will push you to the appropriate level and then introduce you to the people who could change your life. Learn daily from Broadway professionals at our New York Theatre College. Showcase your talent to agents, casting agents, and directors and perform in full-scale productions.

Course Highlights

  • Learn the Business:  Show-business can be a very daunting industry. We will teach you the business and coping skills you will need to be self-employed in this industry and then be there to advise you throughout your career
  • Audition for agent panel: Our Professional Panel is an opportunity of a lifetime. Just you, just them (agents, casting agents, choreographers and directors). Each student gets his or her own time to shine in front of the panel of professionals from the industry. Many of our students receive representation this way
  • Act, Sing, Dance Daily: We focus on all disciplines of Musical Theatre, not just some of them! Weekly, private voice lessons are also included in the program
  • Study in New York: You will perform for Broadway directors, choreographers and other industry names, who will assess your talent. By the end of the year, you will really understand how creative minds work on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to our innovative musical theatre courses
  • Perform in London: During your time in the UK you will study for a week in London, performing for West end professionals.
