New Year message from AMTA Principal, Kenneth Avery-Clark

New Year Message from the Principal

Announcing our musicals for 2018

Principal Kenneth Avery-Clark wanted to take this opportunity to update you all on what a wonderful year 2017 was and he will be announcing some of the exciting things we have in store this year.

2017 saw many graduates getting some fantastic jobs all over the world. Congratulations to all those #AMTAAlumni we have performing in West End shows, UK Tours, International Tours, Asia Tours and even on our TV screens! This confirms that our teaching methods work and so do our graduates.

We were so fortunate that 2017 saw the opening of our Rome campus. This has allowed European students the amazing opportunity to train in such a diverse and historical city but also at half the price of training in London.  The progress our students are making there is incredible. Jeff Pew (Frozen, Broadway) Graham Newell (Cats, Footloose), Michael Rios (Newsies and Cats) are just some of the guest teachers they have had a visit from both sides of the Atlantic. Not to mention our Principals from London and New York. All AMTA locations enjoy visits from faculty from all over. That’s what gives us the edge on other drama schools. Students constantly learn from West End and Broadway talent no matter where they are located. This results in the best training possible.

Announcing our musicals for this year:

New York Academy – GODSPELL
Rome Academy – SWEET CHARITY

Auditions are now underway for AMTA Belfast, opening this September.

Keep your eyes peeled as we will be announcing the cast lists over the coming months and tickets will soon be on sale for all three productions.
