Joanna Gregory will join the cast in both Stuttgart and Hamburg, Germany

Joanna attended the AMTA 1-year professional development program. She played the part of Charity in the year-end production of SWEET CHARITY directed by Kenneth Avery-Clark, who performed in the West End Revival of the show.

She is now represented by Russell Smith Associates. After leaving AMTA Jo went straight into the lead role in ANGELINA BALLERINA a Mousical in Australia and on the UK/Ireland Tour.

Cameron Mackintosh Ltd and Stage Entertainment are producing Mary Poppins, which has been touring the UK.

AMTA teacher Richard Jones was the Resident Choreographer on the UK Tour.  His past credits include Sweet Charity (Theatre Royal, West End) The Pajama Game (Chichester & Shaftesbury Theatre), Kiss Me Kate (Chichester & Old Vic Theatre) & Crazy For You (Regent’s Park & Novello Theatre).

We are very proud of Joanna’s accomplishments and wish her all the best on the show!

If you are interested in musical theatre training AMTA now has schools in New York City and Rome in addition to their original location, London.

They also offer an intensive summer school in Canada and several Masterclasses throughout the world.

AMTA has graduates working in the industry far and wide including the West End. Current graduates are in their final production of ANYTHING GOES at the Stockwell Playhouse. The musical ends this week and the awards ceremony will be tomorrow night in the West End.
